The system consists of proprietary software that is capable of computing the pig’s trajectory via a set of sophisticated algorithms. Odometer data and AGM data are incorporated into the trajectory for estimating errors such as gyro drifts and accelerometer biases, and the data are iteratively processed in a Kalman smoother to increase accuracy.
